Dr. Ricky Lane was born in Bulloch County. He grew up on a farm in Emanual County and graduated from the University of Georgia with a major in Zoology and a minor in Biochemistry. Dr. Lane attended Northwestern Dental School and graduated in 1989. He has also attended the prestigious Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, as well as participating in numerous continuing education courses to stay current with the latest advances in dentistry.
Dr. Lane recently achieved Master status with the Academy of General Dentists, which includes 1000 continuing education hours over the last five years. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association and the American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Lane gives back to his community through his participation with the Rotary Club. His hobbies include hunting, water skiing, football and spending time with his three sons, Zachary, Ellis and Justin.
