Restoring Your Smile

Broken or missing teeth, loose dentures, receding gums and old, discolored dental work can result in patients feeling embarrassed about their teeth. Statesboro dentist, Dr. Ricky Lane, and our team are here to help you overcome these dental health challenges.

Restorative materials and techniques, combined with the latest advancements in dental technology, allow Dr. Lane to restore health and function to your smile. After gathering diagnostic information, we will work with you to create a plan fits within your schedule and budget.

Cerec® Same-Day Crowns

Our patients love the convenience of Cerec® same-day dentistry. Cerec® (CEramic REConstruction) is a 3D CAD/CAM technology for designing and fabricating dental restorations. After Dr. Lane prepares the tooth, we will use a special camera to take a digital impression of your teeth. This 3D model will then be used to custom-design your dental crown for a precise fit that seamlessly blends into your smile. Your custom dental crown is fabricated with a special milling machine during your appointment, using natural-looking restorative ceramic materials.

Cerec® crowns are designed, fabricated and placed in a single appointment. Digital impressions eliminate the need for messy materials, and because your crown is placed in the same appointment, there are no temporaries. You leave our dental office with the finished product: a beautiful, durable ceramic crown.

Dental Implants

If you are missing one or more teeth, our dentist may suggest mini dental implants to restore your smile. Mini dental implants are a revolutionary development in the world of dental implants. Traditional dental implants require the surgical placement of the implant and many months of healing and waiting. Mini dental implants are smaller and designed to be completed in just one non-invasive visit to our office, while offering all of the benefits of traditional implants.

Mini dental implants are made from small surgical posts inserted in place of the missing tooth, onto which a dental restoration is attached. Your dental restoration may be a crown, bridge, or denture, depending on how many teeth have been lost.

Cone Beam Radiography provides Dr. Lane with 3D images to evaluate the oral structures for implant placement.

Dr. Lane may suggest mini dental implants for patients who do not have enough bone structure for traditional implants and those who are simply looking for a more comfortable, quick solution. Mini dental implants allow you to eat and speak normally while restoring your lost facial shape and volume. We always want you to leave our dental office with a smile and renewed self-confidence. Contact us to learn more about how we can restore missing teeth with mini dental implants.

Root Canal Therapy

If a tooth is severely infected, decayed, or damaged, root canal therapy can restore the tooth's structure, health, and function. During root canal therapy, Dr. Lane will gently remove the decayed and infected portion of the tooth, dental pulp and nerve, then seal the tooth root(s). He will then "cap" the tooth with a dental crown to restore the structure and appearance of the tooth, and to protect it from further damage.

Root canal therapy is an effective alternative to tooth extraction that allows you to keep your original tooth and improve the health of your smile.

Our Statesboro dental office is equipped with technologies such as Digital X-rays to help diagnose dental infection before painful toothaches develop.

Complete & Partial Dentures

Dentures are removable dental prosthetics that replace the missing teeth in an arch (upper or lower) to restore your bite and regain lost function. A removable partial denture has special fittings that attach to surrounding teeth for support. A complete denture relies on the soft tissue for retention. Both full and partial dentures can be secured by a series of dental implants for added stability and support.

Implant-supported dentures stabilize the dental prosthesis to keep it from slipping, creating improved function for eating and talking, and a more natural appearance. No more loose dentures!

Laser dental technology can allow for a more comfortable surgical experience and a faster post-op recovery time.

Our Statesboro, GA dental office offers sedation dentistry options and tools such as The Wand Comfort Control™ Syringe to ensure that each dental treatment is as comfortable as possible.
